I had the privilege of traveling globally to study how group leaders used Facebook to build community. We developed a study to better understand the tools they might need to manage these communities online with Facebook.

This research led to numerous projects and products I built, including Group Rules, Pending member questions, Automatic admin actions, a new information architecture of admin tools, and more.

This research allowed us to create advanced tooling systems that were easy to understand for a global, lower tech-literate population, and ultimately allow them to have better control over the online communities they volunteer manage every day.
